A Long Awaited Travel: Florida Part 2

I am so glad to be sharing my travel activities in Florida with you all. And for part 2 of this series (click here for Part1), we head further south from Fort Lauderdale to Miami Beach (if you’re not from this state, Miami Beach and Miami are two different cities so don’t get confused like me).

Here’s my top 5 so far:  

1.       South Beach

South Beach is one of the best vacation spots in Florida. It’s famous for it’s white sand, beach activities and more so because of the beautiful people and non-stop parties.

2.       Versace Mansion
1116 Ocean Drive, Miami, FL

Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace hosted galas for celebrities and famous personalities in this mansion before his tragic end in 1997. This has now been turned into a hotel called Casa Casuarina and is still a must see location when you come to Miami.

3.       Ocean Drive Restaurants

Enjoy your meal on any of the colorful restaurants along Ocean Drive. We had brunch at Kantina - the food and view of parked luxury cars are amazing.

4.       Art  Deco Architecture

Walk through art deco as you stroll along Ocean Drive. Book your hotel in this area and take some time off the beach to appreciate Mediterranean revival and modern style architecture. This street gives a different vibe on day time and night time.

5.       Wynwood Walls

If you want Instagram-worthy photos then head on to Wynwood Walls that are filled with different murals for you to marvel and appreciate.
